Project

Operation Kaiser Kommando 2007

Congratulations!  You have been personally selected by Kaiser William II to perform a very special duty in the service of the Fatherland!  You are to be his eyes and ears on the battlefield.   You are to be spies for his Majesty and must be careful where you walk and who you talk to! Here is your assignment:

  1. You are to collect data on the conditions of the battlefield, on events and personalities affecting the war.
  2. You are to assemble this data in a unique format, one that is not readily recognizable so that your report is not found by the enemy.
  3. You must deliver this report in such a way as to not attract attention to it, just like a spy would.
  4. You will be notified of a drop zone to place your report so our royal courier can pick it up for the Kaiser.
  5. This project will be due on February 5th by the end of the school day.    Late reports will receive only half credit for being 1 day late.  No reports will be accepted after the 6th of February.
  6. My website has a copy of the internet links.  Go to www.mrcombshistory.com
  7. Remember, the more unique way of deliver means more points!  Some past examples were reports hidden in lunchboxes, disguised as love letters from the front, disguised as medical supplies, hidden in newspapers, etc.

Questions for WWI resources on the Web 2007

Answer these questions on separate sheets of paper to create your spy report.  Deliver your report to Herr Combs’ and Herr Jettinghoff’s room with a clue left how to recognize and find it.  All reports must be dropped off in room 232.
